Traditional Slovenian breakfast in the society

On the third Friday in November, on the day of Slovenian food in Slovenia, breakfast has been served in the traditional way for ten years.

This year, we Slovenes in Split also pointed out the importance of breakfast and ate healthy home-made food with special pleasure. Alpine milk, buckwheat bread with walnuts, floral honey from Carniolan lavender bees, butter and apples were on the menu this morning, and a hearty “good morning” reigned in the association’s premises, of course by all prescribed criteria in the current situation.
